Founded in 1978, this Chicago-based economic and financial consulting firm is led by internationally renowned economists. The firm works on a wide variety of projects and applies high level economic and statistical analyses to solve important problems. We conduct economic impact analyses of policies and contemplated actions by businesses and public agencies, advise clients, and provide support for litigation and regulatory proceedings including expert testimony.

Role:
• Perform detailed research and economic analyses on a variety of applied problems as required.
• Document tasks, methods, data, and findings to a high level of precision and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all work.
• Maintain and update data series from a variety of government and private sources.
• Prepare drafts of written analyses, reports, and presentations.

Requirements:
• Degree in Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• Coursework in econometrics and statistics.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, slide presentation software, and statistical software packages including EVIEWS and Stata.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and congenially with others.
• Demonstrated ability in areas of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.


Preference given to candidates with the following:
• Applied economic research experience.
• MA, PhD in Economics, Statistics and/or MBA.
• Advanced graduate coursework in econometrics and statistics.
• Experience with EVIEWS, Stata, input-output modeling, GIS.


Location:
