Global Data Economics Analyst - French Or German Speaker

We are seeking highly motivated, detail oriented people to join the Global Data Economic Statistics team. This group provides market data which is used by our clients to make informed investment decisions. Your main responsibilities will be to update, maintain and process macroeconomic and money market data in the EMEA region. You will develop relationships with numerous sources, from governments to Central Banks to ensure the accuracy and timely collation of this information whilst liaising between Bloomberg Sales, News and Business Management to ensure the maintenance and development of the product.
Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in economics are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and qualifying relevant macroeconomic and money market data
- Updating and processing data onto the Bloomberg database in a timely manner
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing database
- Responding to client queries regarding the data within assigned markets

Requirements:
- Fluency in French and/or German required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Economics Degree preferred)
- In depth understanding of macroeconomics
- Keen interest in financial markets
- Proactive self-starter with demonstrable leadership skills
- Understanding of technology and its application to data management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience of processing data is desirable
- Experience of project management is desirable
- Ability to multi task
- Proficient use of Excel (VBA desirable)
