ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Director will manage a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants, under the supervision and direction of Senior Managing Directors. The Director will be responsible for executing projects start to finish, managing client relationships, performing complex statistical and econometric analysis, and clearly communicating results in the form of written reports and oral presentations. Qualified candidates must possess an advanced degree (MA or PhD) in economics or statistics, strong leadership skills, and excellent data management and analysis skills. Strong candidates will be forward-thinking and will be comfortable and accountable in leading multiple client engagements simultaneously.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Assist in preparation of reports in Federal and State courts, including damages estimation, in the following areas:
o Alleged infringement of Intellectual Property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights; and
o Class and Collective Action litigation, including alleged discrimination and wage and hour litigation
• Statistical and econometric analysis of large datasets
• Business Development through cross-selling other services offered within FTI
• Willingness to travel – up to 25%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Economics or Statistics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Ability to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations
• Ability to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
• Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficient in large database software programs such as SQL Server and/or Microsoft Access
• Proficient in statistical or econometric software programs such as SAS, Stata, E-Views, and/or R
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
