The Birmingham Business School (BBS) requires a teaching focused lecturer or senior lecturer in the area of business and labour economics. The lecturer will be located within the Department of Business and Labour Economics within the School, a Department with a strong research record, which contributes to a large undergraduate Business Studies programme both within the Business School and to engineering and science students across the University, and also to the Masters and PhD programmes. Hence, good teaching skills are essential. In addition, we are looking for candidates with broad research interests in the economics of business, preferably with a quantitative foundation. Research areas would cover industrial, labour or regional economics, and within these areas, for example, the international business and institutional environment, innovation, and technological change.

Lecturer Salary: £38,511 to £51,702 per year
Senior Lecturer Salary: £47,328 to 71,509 per year
