We have an immediate opening for a Research Officer to join the Securities and Finance practice in our London office.

Responsibilities may include designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data; collecting market, industry, company, and competitor information; reviewing, summarizing and analyzing industry trends; managing large data sets and writing programs to implement complex analysis; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos, expert reports and presentation materials and participating in client and team meetings and conference calls.

Qualifications

Candidates should enjoy quantitative research, possess exceptional analytical skills and hold a Masters or BA/ BS in Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related discipline with excellent academic records. Course work and/or experience in finance, economics, statistics, and/or regression analysis/econometrics is required.

Course work or experience in accounting or computer programming as well as an ability to use statistical software is highly desirable. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, have demonstrated ability to think analytically and critically and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Business level English is required and business level fluency in an additional language such as German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Swedish and/or Danish is preferred but not required. Some travel may be required
