PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Perform research on business development and marketing;
• Coach, train and present to other colleagues on best practices, lessons learned and economic theory applied on case work;
• Assist in preparing educational presentations for colleges, clients or the public and contribute to Analyst recruiting through interviews and attending recruiting events;
• Manage project, including project planning, budget estimates and communication with attorneys;
• Draft and revise expert reports and other work product, including declarations, trial demonstratives and analyses of economic and financial issues;
• Design and develop financial analysis, analytic models and valuation models for public and private companies using Excel and develop business valuation models and damage assessment analysis;
• Design and develop empirical econometric models using SAS, STATA and other quantitative programming languages and perform complex econometric modeling, including high level multivariable regression analysis;
• Identify key economic issues, develop analytical approaches and monitor the technical implementation of research design;
• Communicate and present economic research and financial analysis work products internally and externally;
• Lead qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, economic analysis and industry research utilizing economic, financial and pricing data from Bloomberg and Capital IQ;
• Work with economic experts in litigation context, prepare oral testimony and draft written testimony;
• Review backup and serve as near-final quality control check before work goes to senior staff; and contribute to Economist recruiting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's degree in economics, finance or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
• 3 years of experience in economic consulting and/or quantitative economic research and financial analysis
• Experience must include: SAS and STATA statistical programming languages; Cap IQ and Bloomberg financial databases;
• Report writing to interpret economic and financial issues;
• Complex econometric modeling, including high level multivariable regression analysis;
• Financial analysis and analytical and valuation model development using Excel;
• Damage assessment analysis; and
• Business valuation of private and publicly-traded companies.
