The Post

The Economics Division is seeking to recruit a senior lecturer in Economics, with a focus on applied microeconomics, in particular in areas such as health, ageing and population economics.

This post is offered at Senior Lecturer level. Stirling is currently building strength in areas such as health economics and the economics of ageing. The candidate would be expected to build on our research in this area.

The main duties associated with this post are as follows:

Contributing to the research outputs of the Division, and in particular taking a senior role in the research undertaken in the area of applied microeconomics;
Applying for and winning research funding;
Providing teaching inputs in the Division's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
Contributing to the successful operation and growth of the Division and School.
