Queen Mary's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is embarking on the latest phase of strategic investment to recruit excellent researchers and teachers who can contribute to the achievement of its ambitious and exciting plans. As a result, applications are invited for a suitably qualified permanent Teaching Fellow, to support specialist teaching and student support for MSc programmes specifically modules in Alternative Investments and Investments.

Candidates should have an excellent academic background and a PhD in either Finance or Economics. Post holders will take an active role in ensuring academic quality and standards in the School, curriculum development, and supervision of students and the use of technology in teaching. Successful applicants will have significant relevant administrative responsibilities in relation to the management of MSc programmes.

Salary for this post will be in the region of £38,579 - £40,738 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
