Transfer Pricing - Economic Analyst

We are a national team of 85 transfer pricing specialists including 5 partners mostly based in London and key UK cities. We are a diverse team, with people from very different backgrounds. We have a strong reputation for quality and ambitious growth targets for the coming years.

Staff are allocated to industry teams, but have lots of flexibility to work across industry sectors, and with different partners and directors. More specialism is expected at senior manager level and above. There is a good mix of economists, finance specialists and tax professionals with backgrounds from industry, practice and HMRC. There are currently 15 economists (all with PhD or Masters degrees), who frequently get together to share knowledge and ideas in order to apply economic concepts to our client's transfer pricing questions.

Roles and Responsibilities

The work we do as economists in transfer pricing includes:
- Price planning & optimisation studies
- Benchmarking of market prices across all industries and transaction types
- Implementation of pricing methods for clients
- Advance Pricing Agreements
- Valuation (mostly of IP assets)
- Tax authority enquiries
- M&A due diligence - deal support
- Documentation of pricing policies

Candidates with work experience are also encouraged to apply, and will be considered for more senior positions based on experience.
