PhD in Economics, Econometrics or equivalent, with a quantitative focus and/or experience; Extensive economic theory and empirics; Experience with modeling and forecasting of domestic and international economic indicators, with a balance of qualitative and quantitative expertise;Solid statistics theory; Advanced programming skills in SAS, R, STATA, Eviews and Matlab; Strong desire to work individually and with a group on complex problem solving; Ability to work in a time sensitive, market driven environment; Strong attention to detail;Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Knowledge of financial markets; Strong mathematical skills, especially coursework or experience in financial theory, derivatives pricing or stochastic calculus; Advanced programming skills Proficiency in Excel and graphing software; Experience with large dataset analysis.
